Overview

ASUS RS720-E12-RS12U-27KW10G is a 2U rackmount dual-socket server platform designed for modern data centers, virtualization clusters, and AI-driven workloads. It is deployed by infrastructure teams that require scalable compute, high memory density, and flexible I/O expansion.

The platform supports dual Intel Xeon 6 Scalable processors with up to 350W TDP per CPU, enabling high core-count processing for compute-intensive environments. It integrates 32 DDR5 DIMM slots, supporting large memory footprints up to multi-terabyte capacity, making it suitable for virtualization, analytics, and in-memory workloads.

Storage architecture includes support for up to 12 hot-swap NVMe drive bays, allowing high-throughput, low-latency storage configurations. Additional internal storage is supported via dual M.2 slots, enabling OS boot or caching tiers without consuming front drive bays.
