Overview

The SDOCKU313 is a single‑bay external docking station for SATA storage devices, designed for IT professionals, system builders, and data recovery workflows where quick access to drives is needed without installing them inside a system. It lets technicians connect a 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA HDD or SSD directly to a host machine over USB, addressing rapid data transfers, backups, imaging, and drive maintenance operations efficiently.

This dock uses a USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) host interface to deliver high‑throughput data transfers when paired with compatible USB controllers and supports UASP for enhanced performance on UASP‑aware hosts. It supports SATA I/II/III protocols, ensuring backward compatibility with legacy and modern drives, and can handle large storage capacities (tested with drives up to ~6 TB).

The unit is a tool‑free, top‑loading design where drives are inserted vertically into the dock without trays or adapters. It includes LED activity indicators and an ejection button to safely remove drives after use.
