The Opengear OM2248‑10G is a high‑density console and remote management appliance engineered for IT infrastructure and network operations teams to provide resilient out‑of‑band (OOB) access and automation for large equipment estates. This unit integrates an AMD GX‑412TC quad‑core processor with 8 GB of DDR3 memory and 64 GB of internal M.2 SSD storage to support concurrent sessions, logging, automation scripting, and system images. It runs Opengear’s infrastructure management software stack with secure shell (SSH), AAA authentication, embedded firewall functions, and scripting support (Python, Docker, etc.) for automated operational workflows.
