The APC AP8932 Rack PDU 2G is a Switched Power Distribution Unit designed to offer advanced power control and active monitoring capabilities. It empowers users with remote outlet level controls, enabling power on/off functionality for equipment rebooting and individual outlet usage restrictions. Featuring power sequencing delays, it allows users to define the sequence for powering up or down attached equipment, minimizing the risk of circuit overload during power recovery and prioritizing load shedding for critical equipment uptime. With real-time current metering, users can monitor connected loads remotely, while user-defined alarms warn of potential circuit overloads, preventing critical IT failures. The PDU includes features such as real power monitoring, a temperature/humidity sensor port, locking IEC receptacles, and low profile circuit breakers. It can be accessed, configured, and controlled via secure Web, SNMP, or Telnet Interfaces, complemented by APC Centralized Management platforms.
