As data centers transition away from legacy VGA interfaces, the KV1409A provides a reliable, compact solution for integrating servers, workstations, and Mac systems into a centralized CATx-based management framework. This module is frequently deployed in high-density rack environments, broadcast studios, and edge computing sites where space optimization and cable management are critical.
By converting Mini DisplayPort video, USB keyboard/mouse signals, and 3.5mm analog audio into a single RJ-45 connection, the KV1409A eliminates the need for bulky, distance-limited KVM cables. It supports digital video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, ensuring crisp image quality for administrative tasks. The module is entirely bus-powered via the host server’s USB port, removing the requirement for external power adapters at the rack level.
