Overview:
The GS728TPv2, GS728TPPv2, GS752TPv2, and GS752TPP are new NETGEAR switches. They are Gigabit Ethernet, PoE+, and have 4 SFP ports. They add full 24 and 48 port PoE+ support for modern, high-power PoE devices. Cautious spenders can now deploy denser PoE+ devices. They can connect them to a cost-effective switch, with a 190W PoE budget over 24 ports, or 380W over 48 ports. Long-term buyers of infrastructure want to future-proof for the unknown. They can now select a switch with a PoE power budget of 380W over 24 ports, or 760W over 48 ports. This provides more headroom. The GS728TPv2 supports quiet rack mounting. It has a max of 31dBA at full PoE, with traffic on all ports and a 25°C (77°F) ambient. Its fan-speed control combines accurate monitoring with low noise. The GS728TPPv2 is rated at 35dBA. The GS752TPv2 is at 38dBA, and the GS752TPP at 43dBA. All tests used the same measurements.
